Calibre Search celebrates growth with a trio of new recruits

Recruitment agency, Calibre Search, has expanded its workforce across its Leeds and Manchester offices as part of plans for the company’s wider growth, as it reaches its ten year anniversary this year.

Joining the team in Leeds are Niall Horner and Tanya Gillow, who will both work to service the digital industry and market research sector. Niall has previous experience in recruiting having worked for Kinetica in a previous role and will be recruiting across design, digital and development, whereas Tanya joins the team with a background in Sales and Marketing and will use her knowledge of the industry to effectively recruit for the market research sector alongside Marketing Director, Matthew Finlay.

The Leeds recruits will be working to satisfy the booming demand for digital professionals in the North, especially focusing on the thriving digital scene within Leeds that is due to grow when broadcaster Channel 4 moves to the city.

At the Manchester office, Tom Barrow will work to service the Built Environment sector, recruiting civil and structural engineers in the Midlands. Tom brings with him experience from his previous role at Anders.

Speaking on the growth, Mark Lyons, Managing Director of Calibre Search, said: “We’re thrilled to have Niall, Tanya and Tom joining the Calibre team. While we’ve seen the recruitment, market face some challenges this year, perhaps due to some uncertainty around Brexit, we’re confident in the clients that we service and the growth that they will see, especially across the Digital and Creative sectors, and especially in Leeds as a growing hub of Digital activity in the North. Over the next five years, we’re hoping to double our workforce and grow alongside the industries that we service.”

As well as new recruits, Calibre Search has also invested significantly in systems, technology, marketing and training for both consultants and managers to ensure all staff can keep atop of the growing and ever-changing sector landscapes.
