Carter Jonas on the up with new Bristol office expansion plans

Carter Jonas has opened a new 4,833 sq ft Bristol office on the ground floor of St Catherine’s Court in Clifton’s Berkeley Place.

The new office follows the firm’s acquisition of Bristol-based property consultants, Williams Gunter Hardwick Ltd, in May this year.

The relocation is part of Carter Jonas’ strategy to grow its cross-sector market share in the South West and allows the existing commercial, rural and planning and development teams in Bristol and Bath to come together into one hub supported by five regional offices across the region.

The office will initially accommodate over 40 people and will be led by Andrew Hardwick, formally one of the founding directors of Williams Gunter Hardwick Ltd.

The existing Carter Jonas office in Wood Street, Bath will remain and has undergone a complete refurbishment.

Mark Granger, chief executive of Carter Jonas, said: “As we come to the end of our 2020 five year strategic plan we are continuing to focus on and invest in our hub locations. The South West is an important part of this strategy.

“In response to client demand, we have increased the number of offices in the region to offer a broader range of services and provide easier access to our teams.”

He added: “Our new Bristol office and the refurbished office in Bath are both modern, open-plan workspaces that encourage collaboration and interaction between our people working across all service lines.

“The hub in Bristol and the offices beyond, provide our teams with the best possible platform to support our clients and increase our already commanding market position in the South West.”
