Capital Cash wins record number of accolades at National Pawnbrokers Association Awards

The largest franchisee of Cash Converters, Capital Cash, has this year secured a record number of accolades at the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA) Awards, after taking home the highly commended accolade for ‘Employer of the Year’.

This latest accolade marks the fifth successive year in which Capital Cash, which has stores in Slough, Bletchley and High Wycombe, has been presented with a commendation from the NPA and the first time any company has achieved consecutive honours across five years.

Having previously won both Employer and Employee of the Year as well as the Community Contribution Award for their significant charity work, Capital Cash was this year praised for their highly motivated staff and strong focus on training and development. The judges also noted the great sense of teamwork and engagement.

Commenting on the award-winning achievement, Carl Murray, Managing Director at Capital Cash said: “It’s wonderful achievement to once again be recognised by the NPA for our work in the pawnbroking sector. Winning for a fifth year is testament to the professionalism, expertise and excellence demonstrated by staff across our 42 Cash Converters stores.

Capital Cash has been a member of the National Pawnbrokers Association for 13 years and works to promote the benefits of pawnbroking in its local communities.

The association helps large commercial chains and independent pawnbrokers to grow and develop within the industry. It ensures all its members are compliant with new laws, rules and procedures, safeguarding customers and other businesses from fraud and bad practice.

Capital Cash is part of Cash Converters UK, which is a franchised retailer with 196 outlets throughout the country.
