New Leeds marketing firm acquires London PR agency in growth drive

A newly formed Leeds digital marketing agency has acquired a London PR firm a month after launching.

Leeds-headquartered agency connective3 has acquired Bermondsey-based PR specialist Silverthorn for an undisclosed sum.

Situated at Queen Street in Leeds, connective3 was established last month by Vin Chinnaraja and Patrick Altoft, and has already grown to a team of 11, offering a range of digital services including SEO (search engine optimisation), content marketing, PPC (pay per click), display and CRO (conversion rate optimisation).

Launched in May 2018 by Laura Crimmons following investment from Vin and Patrick, Silverthorn specialises in PR, social media and content marketing.

Silverthorn founder Laura Crimmons explained: “Over the past 18 months we’ve worked with some fantastic brands and have delivered some excellent work at Silverthorn, however I have decided that running an agency is not the path for me.

“Following a transition period over the next few months I’m going to be moving on to pastures new.”
