Altrincham’s iconic office building secures new occupier
The successful refurbishment of the interior and exterior of Altrincham’s landmark building at 1-5 The Downs is maintaining its popularity as one of the town’s office venues of choice.
The end of a lease released another 450 sq ft of office accommodation on the third floor that has been given a freshen up and let on a three year lease to Beyond Barriers Trauma and Wellbeing service.
Dr Zoe Rivers, Clinical Psychologist and founder of Beyond Barriers Trauma and Wellbeing service, said: “We support psychological wellbeing through social enterprise and are passionate about tackling gaps in mental health care provision. We want to create partnerships with existing resources in Altrincham to build a therapeutic network in our community in which local residents can heal and thrive after trauma and adversity. We, therefore, needed offices that were in the heart of the town and private enough to feel therapeutic - this building delivered on all levels.”
Daniel Lee, director, Regional Property Solutions, responsible for the management and letting of the building on behalf of the landlord TELL Holdings, said: “Any available office space in this building since its makeover lets very quickly and this was no exception retaining its 100% occupancy”.
