Growing firm wants to stay in its own home
A business that helps older people enjoy quality of life and stay in their own homes for longer, has expanded its team. Diane Chandler, Director of Home Instead Senior Care, says as its clients age they may need more support, which has led to six more care giving jobs, as well as a new member of the office team. “We’ve been based at Lingfield Point in Darlington for 12 years. We had outgrown our other office and were on top of each other. “We looked at - do we need to move? Shall we look elsewhere? But it was a non-starter, Lingfield Point is perfect for us. “Now I have my own office, there’s a training room and space for a staff area which is better for staff welfare. “The workspace is big enough to accommodate further growth – I think the move has helped us to future proof the business. “We have added six more carers as well as key personnel in the management team,” said Diane. Estate Manager, Eddie Humphries, said: “The bigger office in Lingfield House is looking great and offers space and privacy which were becoming an issue as the numbers at the firm grew.”
