Works complete on idyllic coastal apartments in Bexhill-on-Sea

Works have now completed on new residential apartments in the ancient town of Bexhill-on-Sea – offering sea views across the South East coast.

Designed and delivered by architecture and construction consultancy YMD Boon alongside housebuilder Jade Homes Construction Ltd, planning consultant Stewart Management and Planning Solutions and structural engineer Romala Design Ltd; the Ancaster Court development brings 21 one and two-bedroom apartments to the town, all with parking and some with external patio areas.

The former care home conversion was delivered on behalf of Southlea Property Management, and benefits from being situated on higher ground along the coastline – providing excellent sea views from the upper floors on the south façade for future tenants.

Originally four Victorian-style terraced villas, the conversion of the site involved careful modifications and extensions while complementing the existing vertical hung clay tiling and traditional Victorian brickwork detailing. Each of the apartments have been finished to a high standard with modern fittings and fixtures throughout.

Located on the leafy Hastings Road in the tranquil seaside town, the new apartments are within easy walking distance of the town centre, local amenities and the beach front.

“We’re delighted to have achieved such an attractive development and hope future residents enjoy their new homes. YMD Boon is also looking at a new build residential block at the land to the rear of the existing building. The scheme is due to receive planning approval at the end of November.”
