Stockton's Mobile Mini invests £1m into future operations with new southern site
A hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers has committed to the area by investing £1m in a large site for its operation.
Stockton-headquartered Mobile Mini UK has relocated and expanded its Bristol branch, signalling commitment to the area.
The £1m investment in the move comes after a period of growth within the region for the company.
Having outgrown its original site following a surge in demand for its services over recent years, Mobile Mini’s new Bristol branch has moved into a purpose-built, five-acre facility in the Rockingham South business estate in Avonmouth.
As part of the investment, a new branch manager has been appointed to lead the team.
Matt Robbins, who joins the firm from Stevenswood Trade Centres, has over 20 years of experience in portable accommodation branch management and will be leading the charge at the newly expanded Bristol site.
He said: “Our new location and facilities enable us to better listen to, learn from and engage with our customers while ensuring quality and scope for our clients’ needs, all from a modern workplace that fosters collaboration and energises employees.”
The site could offer many advantages to its customers, such as quicker turnaround times and greater product availability, while also allowing the company to maintain its reputation for excellence in customer service.
All 18 employees have been relocated from the original site.
Andrew Thompson, managing director of Mobile Mini, added: “This is a very exciting time for us. Almost half of our branches have been relocated or expanded to meet customer demand, securing our place as the leading provider of storage and accommodation units.
“Unprecedented investment in our infrastructure helps us to further improve our world-class customer service, and we’re delighted to be able to bring this improvement to Bristol and the South West.”
