Specialist Glass Products welcomes two new recruits to support growth
Specialist Glass Products (SGP) has recently welcomed two new recruits to its expanding team based in Huddersfield.
Veronica Howatson and Jane Walls join as support to the office and accounts department, signalling further growth for the glass manufacturer, having recently doubled its production capacity with the installation of a new state-of-the-art glass furnace.
The addition of this machinery means that SGP is one of the only UK glass manufacturers with the facility to produce laminated glass at large scale, resulting in high demand for their services.
Andrew Taylor, Managing Director at Specialist Glass, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Veronica and Jane onboard at this crucial time as we continue to expand.
“Our new recruits will play a vital role in ensuring orders are processed thoroughly and in a timely fashion to keep up with our current demand, and have already proved to be an asset to our team.”
SGP has been in operation for over 15 years and has provided glass for installations at a number of landmarks across the country, including at The O2 in London, Somerset House and Wembley Stadium.
