Christmas drawings feature as signage at Wayside Point
Ascent Homes, the award-winning house builder on site at Wayside Point in Ellington developing a range of new homes, decided to have some festive fun with children at the local school.
As part of its on-going community and engagement strategy, Ascent Homes teamed up with Ellington Primary School to ask them if the children could design some Christmas drawings to be used as signage at their Wayside Point development.
Ascent Homes’ Marketing Coordinator, Robyn Murray said: “It’s safe to say that every single entry we received showed a lot of skill and effort, but the designs by Alyssa, Olivia, Miles, Will, Henry and Sophie really caught my eye.
“Ellington Primary School is a short walk away from our development and we’re always happy to engage with children and staff there, as we know the kind of disruption living near a building site can cause.
“We are looking forward to showcasing the excellent drawings by the pupils at Ellington Primary as part of our signage within the next week.”
Mr Vardy, headteacher at Ellington Primary School said: “We’re always delighted to work with Ascent Homes and thank them for the valuable contribution that they bring to the school.
“No doubt children that live at Wayside Point will be future students with us and it is great to work so closely with a housing developer in this way.”
Phase one of the development at Wayside Point has proven extremely popular with many excited new-home buyers moving into their properties.
Ascent Homes currently has a number of different house types available including three-and four-bedroom homes in a range of sizes and styles to suit every type of buyer.
