Funding Secured for Companies Wanting to Boost Growth Beyond Brexit
Businesses wanting to boost growth beyond Brexit are being invited to take part in a trial led by a consortium including global coaching company Notion, the London School of Economics and the commercial arm of the Growth Hub at Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP). The consortium has won funding through Innovate UK with a £315,000 grant under the second round of the Business Basics Fund that explores ways to boost the UK economy.
The trial will include companies who want to instil better management practices throughout their business.
More than 150 companies and 1500 managers across England are being invited to participate. Companies with between 10 and 250 employees, a turnover of less than £25 million and assets below £12 million can take part in the trial.
Companies meeting the criteria have been contacting Notion via their starmanager.global/SME website to sign up before the trial commences.
Dominic Ashley-Timms, Managing Director of Notion, said: “This is a really exciting project and we are delighted to give businesses the opportunity to embrace changes that will really drive business growth.”
Phil Peak, Operations Director of Business Solutions said: “Smaller businesses contribute nearly half of the revenue of the UK economy so boosting this sector is important for the future success of the country. We are delighted to be part of the consortium that will drive forward growth in this area.”
