Having never boxed before, Rees Lawson, stepped into the ring an absolute novice, but came out as a winner, despite having a split decision go against him, he’s already raised almost £350 for Cancer Research UK.
Rees commented, “When I decided to do this, I’d never even pulled on a pair of boxing gloves and it was tough, very tough, much harder than I thought, but what an amazing experience and I’m so pleased to have raised money for such a fantastic cause”.
In his day job Rees has worked as a Technician at Swansway Peugeot, on Sealand Road, for 3 years; “Swansway is a family-owned business and they support every employee who takes part in charity fund-raising, so a big thanks to them for their donation”.
