PelliTec®Shortlisted for Prestigious Health Sector Award
Tectores, a team of North West entrepreneurs who designed and launched PelliTec®, a revolutionary Blister Prevention Pad, has been shortlisted in the Medilink North of England Healthcare Business Awards.
The awards recognise achievements in primary care, acute care, digital health, exports and innovation across the North West, North East, Yorkshire and the Humber, and have seen Tectores be shortlisted in the ‘Start up’ category.
Since launching the product to the Podiatry market in 2019, the team has continued to go from strength to strength – securing a range of on line and retail listings across the UK, achieving encouraging results from product trials in the treatment of diabetic foot conditions , as well as being shortlisted in a number of leading industry awards.
Michael McColgan, Podiatrist and part of the PelliTec® development team said: “We are so proud of everything we have achieved in such a short amount of time. Being shortlisted in the Medilink North of England Healthcare Business Awards is an incredible achievement. Winning the award would be the cherry on the top of what has been an incredible year.”
