Park Hill renovation project launches new phase

A new phase of a Yorkshire building project is set to create nearly 200 new homes.

The Park Hill renovation, which is a joint venture between Urban Splash and Places for People, has been open to residents since 2010.

Phase two of Park Hill’s renovation will offer a further 195 homes and 20,000 sq ft of mixed-use commercial space.

The houses go on sale on 29 February with the first residents expected to move in summer 2021.

Guy Ackernley, on behalf of the joint venture partners, said: “Our vision was to create a new mid century quarter for Sheffield and we are well on the way to achieving this.

“Phase 2 is the next chapter in the renaissance of this iconic building - loved, lost and now re born.

“Working with architect Mikhail Riches we have created a new style of living spaces that are slightly different in their configuration to those in Phase 1 but also reverential to the original design and look.

“Anticipation and expectation is high given the attention now focused on Park Hill with its worldwide reputation, but we are confident we have delivered.”
