On Medical awarded ISO accreditation
On Medical has secured the ISO27001 accreditation.
Being one of the most internationally accepted and widely recognised information security standards, ISO27001 provides organisations with a framework for establishing processes for implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
In order to achieve the certification, On Medical’s compliance to the standard was validated by an independent certification body, the British Assessment Bureau. As part of the assessment, On Medical had to meet rigorous assessment criteria.
Michael Warmington, Associate Director and Project Sponsor, commented; “Over the past 18 months, we have been working hard to develop and embed policies and procedures within the business to achieve the ISO27001 accreditation.
“I have no doubt this achievement helps us demonstrate our commitment to protecting the data and information assets of our clients, partners and employees.”
Clint Milnes, Group Chief Information Officer, commented; “This is an excellent achievement that demonstrates that we are extremely dedicated to protecting information assets and data, while continuously evaluating and improving the way we work.”
