Caedmon appoint Preston Baker to market prestigious Kirby Hill development

Caedmon Homes has appointed award-winning Yorkshire property consultancy Preston Baker to market its prestigious new housing development at Kirby Hill, near Boroughbridge.

Caedmon Homes are building 34 bespoke houses at Priory Meadows in Kirby Hill in the heart of the village. The development ranges from two-bed bungalows to five-bed houses, priced from £265,000 and includes 14 affordable homes for key workers, already bought by Wakefield District Housing (WDH) for over £1 million. The development will be fully completed in early spring, but some houses are available now for immediate occupation.

Paul Brown, director of Caedmon commented: “We are delighted to be working with such a respected local agency as Preston Baker. They have an excellent track record for marketing homes and residential developments across Yorkshire and we look forward to them promoting Priory Meadows swiftly and effectively.”

James Baker of Preston Baker commented: “This is an incredible opportunity. We are delighted to have been appointed by such a reputable and highly regarded developer and we are excited about working with them on not only this but future projects.

“Priory Meadows offers a variety of new homes in this popular North Yorkshire village and the attention to detail, including design and specification, really sets the development apart from its competition.

“There is a lot of local competition for new build-houses in the immediate area with three sites within a couple of miles but Priory Meadows is in a different class. These houses are not generic boxes and their design is exclusive to Caedmon Homes. Many have splendid views and spacious interiors, which sets them apart.

“We have chosen the location of this development extremely carefully. Kirby Hill is a pretty rural village near the flourishing market town of Boroughbridge and within minutes of the A1 motorway, providing easy commuting access to York, Harrogate, Leeds and Newcastle.

“The wide range of houses on offer means we are looking for potential occupiers who are looking to both upsize and downsize. We believe the modern bungalows will prove extremely popular with more elderly couples wanting to downsize, whilst the elegant five-bed houses are perfect for a growing family wanting to move into a larger home.

“Recent quality housing developments in the Boroughbridge area have proved very successful and we are confident that our Kirby Hill development will be equally popular. Our homes will be competitively-priced, but built to the highest standards,” he added.

Caedmon Homes are also masterminding new state-of-the-art developments in the Groves area of York and at Whitby, close to the centre of the historic town.
