City Centre Offices Transformed into High-Spec Apartments
Chester-based Blueoak Estates acquired Concorde House on Canal Street in 2019.
A former office building in Chester city centre has undergone a major transformation into 32 one, two and three bedroom apartments.
There is currently significant demand for apartments in the city centre particularly amongst downsizers and professionals.
This scheme is located directly outside of the city walls in the emerging Northgate Quarter, only five minutes from Storyhouse.
The building, which was constructed in the 1950s and extends to more than 22,000 sq ft, was the former home of the Inspiring Travel Company (ITC).
While the Georgian-inspired exterior required only general maintenance and minor visual enhancement, the interior has undergone extensive refurbishment.
The developer, Blueoak Estates, is set to reveal the building’s new look at the end of February.
A spokesperson from Blueoak Estates also confirmed that the apartments will be available under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
