Leeds consultancy tunes in to new market with acquisition of London media firm
A Leeds-based insight consultancy has announced its acquisition of a London content and creative development expert.
Trinity McQueen, a custom market research and insights agency based in Leeds, has acquired Blinc Partnerships, which was founded in London in 1997.
Blinc is known for TV, film, media and advertising with big-name clients such as BBC, Sky, Channel 4, ITV, Amazon, Renault, Peugeot and BMW.
The acquisition gives Trinity McQueen access to Blinc’s propriety technology platform used to develop some of Britain’s TV shows, box sets and ads.
Anna Cliffe, co-founder of Trinity McQueen, commented: “Blinc has unrivalled experience in TV and media and their innovative tech means our clients will get quick feedback on how to develop successful TV shows, films and now advertising content.
“It’s a great addition to the agency, as we broaden our portfolio of services.”
Robin Horsfield, also co-founder of Trinity McQueen, added: “It’s an important acquisition for the agency, as we broaden our services into new sectors, meeting demands from an expanding client list.
“The deal underlines our ambitions to grow further in central London and Leeds.”
Director of Blinc, Paul Barrow, commented: “It’s a great cultural partnership for Blinc. Trinity McQueen is a high profile agency and uses the same behavioural science conventions in their work as us.
“Our tech can be used in different sectors and be plugged into other research services.
“I’m looking forward to demonstrating the impact of our work more widely at Trinity McQueen.”
