Carter Towler to market speculative industrial development in Wakefield
Carter Towler and the Leeds office of JLL have been appointed to market the new build industrial park Corinium 62, Premier Way North, Normanton on behalf of The Corinium Partnership. The 45,950 sq ft, 6 unit development adjacent to junction 31 of the M62 has just been completed.
Commenting on the appointment Carter Towler director Josh Holmes said: “We have pre-let one of the units to the engineering trade counter operator Hayley Group. There aren’t many smaller industrial units of this high quality in the area, in fact I think this is the first of its kind that we’ve seen constructed in Normanton in the last four or five years.
“We are really pleased to be marketing Corinium 62; it’s an excellent speculative development that is ideal for trade counter operators and distribution companies. The location is a well-established distribution hub serving the North of England with leading companies such as Bosch, DHL, ASDA, Fyffes and Haribo already locates there and of course The Range will be soon moving in a few hundred metres up the road. The properties themselves have been carefully designed and include lots of high specification details.”
Constructed using brick with steel portal frames, the units have maximum thermal insulation, modern insulated roofing with 10% roof lights, coloured powder coated aluminium framed windows to the ground and first floor offices, LED lighting and are set within landscaped grounds.
The remaining five units range from 3,250 – 13,500 sq ft. Carter Towler and JLL are joint agents.
Carter Towler employs 50 people and is acknowledged as one of the most commercially active property companies in the North. Over the past 12 months the company has been involved in over 350 industrial, commercial, investment, property management and building services deals and currently manages over 3,500 properties for its clients nationwide.
