Hortor continues global growth with Slovakia office launch
Hortor, the global strategic resourcing consultancy with its UK headquarters in Yorkshire, has announced plans to launch a new office in Slovakia to support the company’s ambitious five-year plan to become a £100m turnover business.
Located in the centre of Bratislava, the office will be led by experienced Business Development Managers, Vilius Martinkus and Daniela Kroulíková, who are specialists in IT recruitment.
Supported by a network spanning across Central and Eastern Europe, coupled with a UK-based Delivery Centre, the Hortor Slovakia team of experts will focus on working with local businesses and candidates for both temporary and permanent positions.
Among their specialist areas of focus will be Cyber Security and Infrastructure; Software Development; Network Solutions and Machine Learning/AI.
With a UK presence in Leeds and London, Hortor aims to become a market leading recruiter in the digital, IT and tech sector, while also providing bespoke managed services to a worldwide client base.
Having invested more than £500,000 in the last 18-months, the company expects to appoint a further 20 recruits throughout 2020.
Business Development Manager, Vilius Martinkus, comments: “Although this is not Hortor’s first foray into the Slovakian market, having worked with many candidates in the region for several years, it is the first expansion in the region to serve more local businesses. Daniela and I plan to employ the same quality, speed and experience Hortor’s original UK operation has successfully delivered time and again.
“We will lead a team that can combine a market-centric approach, a cultural awareness and active interest in the needs of the business to help develop tailored solutions that meet the needs of the Slovak businesses that we work with. No matter how complex the brief, we will find an approach that will deliver results.
“We look forward to hit the ground running and meeting potential new clients and candidates.”
Joint CEO of Hortor, Andy Roe, comments: “We have very ambitious goals at Hortor and a five-year strategy that we are all working towards. We are strategically laying out the blueprint to ensure we have a foothold in key markets across the globe.
“Along with a top of the class dedicated Delivery Centre in the UK, we already have an established support network in Europe and across the Atlantic. Our continued growth indicates that using a consultative and bespoke approach to go beyond the usual requirements of a recruitment agency resonates with clients on a global scale.
“With a previous track record and years of expertise, Daniela and Vilius have both delivered for our clients time and time again. Their passion and professionalism will undoubtedly lead Hortor Slovakia to become the success it deserves to be.”
