Managed IT experts Octavian IT welcome experienced trio
Managed IT services specialist Octavian IT has welcomed three new members of staff to its team.
Technical Manager Scott Holland, Support Engineer Tristan Ogink and Senior Support Engineer Jonathan Buchanan have all joined the Nottinghamshire-based company as its expansion continues apace.
The Cyber Essentials-accredited firm, which is part of the award-winning, multi-service provider Octavian Group, recently moved into larger offices in Bingham to accommodate its expanding workforce and has seen six new contracts go live in the last three months.
Scott Holland brings a wealth of cyber security experience to Octavian IT, having previously designed and run a high level Security Operations Centre (SOC) for monitoring and analysing IT networks and the internet for malicious activity.
Tristan Ogink also comes from a strong cyber security and network infrastructure support background. He joins the firm after racking up over 2 years’ experience with another IT services company.
Senior Support Engineer Jonathan Buchanan comes on-board from the NHS, where he provided 2nd and 3rd-line IT support across multiple sites.
Ben Solomon, Managing Director at Octavian IT, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Scott, Tristan and Jonathan to the team. Their enthusiasm and drive closely matches our own, and we knew as soon as they walked through the door that they would fit in here. Providing top notch cyber security and managed IT systems is what Octavian IT is all about, and our new recruits bring a wealth of experience which will bolster our existing expertise.
“Our revenue has skyrocketed over the last three months, and we have expanded into bigger premises to accommodate our growing team. I’m incredibly excited about the future, and Scott, Tristan and Jonathan will no doubt play a big part in where the company goes next. We’re all looking forward to a busy and prosperous year ahead.”
