London investment firm drives growth for automotive fintech company
A London-based venture capital firm has invested in an international automotive retail and fintech company.
InMotion Ventures, which is owned by Jaguar Land Rover, has invested in Digital Motors to aid its growth strategy.
Digital Motors operates a digital retailing platform and intelligent fintech (financial technology) configuration engine, enabling car dealerships to fully transact with their customers online.
Digital Motors also saw investment from Autotech Ventures, automotive expert Maryann Keller and managing director of Kerrigan Advisors, Ryan Kerrigan.
Sebastian Peck, managing director of InMotion Ventures, commented: “Digital retailing is not about online transactions vs. in-store sales.
“Digital Motors combines these channels to create a seamless car buying experience for all parties involved.”
Andy Hinrichs, Founder and CEO of Digital Motors, added: “By partnering with the best investors and operators in the automotive business, we are able to shift into high gear.”
