“We are delighted with our fundraising efforts across the business so far, with Peninsula employees making a real effort to raise an incredible amount of money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. To raise the ambitious target of £1million, we will continue to engage in multiple fundraising activities. Highlights for 2020 include, Peninsula employees taking part in the Tour de Manc, the Manchester Marathon and a RMCH Charity quiz night. This continued fundraising promotes one of the Peninsula’s core beliefs, the importance of giving back to the community through contributions of time and financial support.”
Peninsula have been working closely with the Charity’s Corporate Fundraising Team.
Lucy Tunn, Corporate Fundraising Executive, said:
“The whole Peninsula family have been enthusiastic supporters and it has been a pleasure working with them on this partnership. Staff have got involved in a broad range of events and fundraising activities and it’s all added up to a fantastic figure. We can’t wait to see what exciting things they get up to next!”
