Creative agency BEOM launches in Newcastle

A new creative agency has launched in Newcastle-upon-Tyne putting an emphasis on collaboration with other technology-driven businesses.

Aimee Thompson and Andrew Young launched BEOM with a simple mission of designing and building exceptional solutions for today’s most innovative companies. Based in Baltic 39, High Bridge Street the duo are already working on a number of brand and user experience focused projects.

Creative Director Aimee said, “We identified the need for an agency focusing on delivering amazing brand experience across the full customer journey. Having worked together for several years we are lucky to hold skills that perfectly complement each other and we are excited to be working towards our shared vision of doing great work with progressive organisations that are really looking to embrace new technologies.”

BEOM are currently working with Xbim, a world-leading expert in the technologies behind building information management. The project includes brand identity and interface design for its new platform which has revolutionised how both 3D and semantic building information can be managed. Director Andy Ward said,“BEOM have been fantastic at understanding our products and vision at Xbim, and have developed a compelling and distinctive brand identity, digital assets and technical style guides that really encapsulate our ethos.”

Technical Director Andrew added, “We are strong believers in focusing on, and constantly improving, our core specialism of experience-led design so we can bring the best and most up-to-date skills and knowledge to our own projects and when collaborating with our partner studios.We are fortunate enough to have worked with people who share our passion for great design and we know the incredible impact collective minds can have.”

With a mission of collaborating with the most innovative tech companies, BEOM are working with Shine Interview, disruptors in the recruitment space with a fresh approach to remote video interviewing. CEO David Copple said, “From inception and various iterations developing our brand, to detailed UX and front-end design, the process has been collaborative and enjoyable, and we have benefited from their high level of expertise. We regularly receive positive comments from many of the large enterprises that we work with around the world on the fantastic user experience that BEOM have played an important part in helping to design.”

The agency’s ethos is forged on a passion for problem-solving and discovery. Aimee explained, “We believe in the importance of self-initiated projects for creativity and dedicate time to explore our personal art and music projects. Our online store showcases just some of the work we do outside of commercial projects, it helps us to keep growing creatively and feeds back into the creative work we do for brands we work with.”
