£260m London development to create "cultural hub" with dance headquarters and 130 homes
A £260m development which could provide 130 homes alongside a dance headquarters in London has been launched.
The Coda development in Battersea has been launched by developer Avanton, which says the project is 60 per cent complete and will be finished by the end of the year.
The development provides 130 private sale apartments and amenities, as well as a new global headquarters for the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
The central Coda building is flanked by two buildings on either side, providing a further 169 homes for PRS Apartments to be managed by A2Dominion.
Omer Weinberger, managing partner at Avanton, commented: “At Avanton we are dedicated to creating exceptional homes for Londoners and bringing together new communities in the process.
“Coda is our flagship scheme that embodies the expertise and craftsmanship that is key to each of our developments.
“With our first celebrated resident the Royal Academy of Dance set to open their new global headquarters next year, Coda will become a cultural hub for the Battersea community and a new destination for young Londoners to live and thrive.”
David Ronson, sales and marketing director at Avanton, added: “Coda will offer homes of an outstanding calibre in a dynamic location, ideal for Londoners who want to capitalise on the regeneration of Battersea as a sought-after place to live and work. “
