Parr Group leads support team to help North West England’s Frontline NHS Staff
Working with partners, colleagues and even industry competitors, the team behind Bolton-based Parr Group has extended an offer of free-of-charge support to frontline NHS staff in the North West staff as they fight the spreading COVID-19 pandemic.
From today, team members from Parr Group, Parr Facilities Management Ltd and partner organisations are offering a 24-hour helpdesk service, hosted by Parr Group. Support offered by the team of local businesses includes emergency boiler repairs and electrical emergencies.
“In these unprecedented times, we felt it was important to help our NHS heroes on the frontline however we can,” said Stephen Parr, Parr Group’s Managing Director. “In times of crisis, we need to show a united front within the local business community to try and offer support to the heroes who are helping to win the fight against COVID-19.
To maintain safety, the team will be operating a doorstep policy, ensuring no direct contact between volunteers and members of the community.
The team at Parr Group are appealing to other local businesses who can offer support to contact them to be included in the support team.
