Logistics company moves in to Barnsley with two business park unit acquisitions
A logistics company has announced its expansion into Barnsley with the addition of two new units.
Third party logistics company Price Express Transport has taken 75,760 sq ft at a Barnsley business park in a deal brokered by Knight Frank.
Price Express Transport, which provides services for the transportation of non-standard freight and palletised goods, secured two units at Metro Trading Centre in Barnsley as part of its nationwide expansion project.
The 10 year lease deal, with Knight Frank advising Angram Trading Limited on the letting, sees the logistics company add to its multiple sites across the country.
John Jarman, from the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, commented: “Price Express Transport currently have multiple sites and this move catered for an expansion project.
“The two industrial/warehouse units benefit from ancillary offices and good motorway access to Junction 37/38 of the M1 Motorway.
“The letting completed following refurbishment upon vacation of the previous tenants and has resulted in the estate being 100 per cent occupied.
“This minimum void period reflects strong demand for good quality second hand accommodation within the region.”
