Mediaworks Strengthens Senior Team with Client Services Director Appointment
Following an incredibly successful 12 months, Mediaworks has announced the appointment of Ian Dinning as Client Services Director.
Ian, who has over 30 years of marketing experience, joins from Lookers PLC where he oversaw 160 dealerships and 31 vehicle manufacturer brands in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Brett Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer at Mediaworks, said: “We’re delighted to welcome someone with Ian’s experience, knowledge, and contacts to the Mediaworks team. Appointing someone of Ian’s calibre with the experience of leading FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 marketing teams is a key part to helping us continue to implement our plans for Mediaworks growth moving forward.”
Ian’s previous experience includes overseeing the marketing functions at software provider, Sage, and IT service provider, Technology Services Group and British Masters and European Tour venue, Close House Golf Resort.
Brett continued: “It has been a year of considerable organic growth for Mediaworks which is a result of our dominant position as the leading marketing agency in the North East. Ian’s addition will provide invaluable experience to our teams and ensure we keep heading in the right direction.
As we continue to attract more blue-chip clients and look towards further acquisitions in Scotland and the north west, it was critical that we recruited the right person to lead our client services team.”
Ian commented: “I am really excited to be joining the award winning Mediaworks team at this pivotal time for all businesses. We know how important it is to have a robust digital strategy and additional resources to flex to the business and customer demands, should they be needed in times like this.
As a client of Mediaworks, I have worked with the team over the last 4 years and they made a hugely positive difference to business. They are a great team, with expert knowledge in future proofing a digital plan while never losing sight of the bottom line. It was clear to me they are a digital agency who understand their clients.”
Mediaworks continues to grow its ambitious growth plans and has recently secured high end clients, such as Quickbooks, Primula and The High Street Group.
Brett concluded: “The need for new clients to diversify and drive transactions across multiple channels, whether that’s online or offline, has never been such a high priority for marketers. We’re confident that Ian’s knowledge and experience will be hugely influential in in supporting new clients through the delivery of our digital services.”
Mediaworks anticipates another record year.
