Free online platform launches to help PTs, physios and coaches deliver programmes remotely

A free-to-use online platform is set to give personal trainers, physios and coaches a major boost in difficult times by allowing them to create and deliver fitness and recovery programmes remotely.

Amplify Pro provides all the tools needed for fitness and health professionals to stay in touch with their service users, set tasks and learn from statistics – even when they are unable to offer face-to-face meetings.

It could prove to be a huge boost to the industry at a time when, because of the current coronavirus pandemic, so many people are forced to stay at home and professionals are unable to open their gyms, clinics or school facilities.

The platform gives personal trainers, physios and coaches access to a vast library of thousands of video demonstrations explaining how to safely undertake every kind of exercise. Plus, the ability to upload their own videos from YouTube.

This means it is quick and easy to create bespoke programmes for service users, whether that is for individuals or groups.

The portal also allows professionals to monitor the progress of their cohorts and to collect feedback on areas such compliance, pain and progress.

Founder Damian Milkins said: “We’re very excited about Amplify Pro - and the feedback we’ve had so far from personal trainers, physios, coaches and educators is excellent.

“It’s a ray of hope in the current climate, because it provides them with an opportunity to stay close to their service users and to monitor their progress in difficult times.

“But it’s also a tool which is designed to enhance face-to-face practice once, as we all hope, coronavirus becomes a thing of the past.

“The ability to set bespoke individual programmes remotely is a major benefit and, once registered, the platform is free for the professional and for those following the regime.”

Some of the top personal trainers and coaches in the country have already shown interest in the platform, which is designed to be easy to navigate.

Exercise programmes are sent direct to service users by email and can then be viewed online.

“This is a very simple delivery process that makes it easy for the end user to access too,” added Damian.

One of the key aspects of Amplify Pro is the huge library of video demonstrations, all made by professionals to ensure they are safe and accurate.

So, whether a service user is looking to increase fitness, recover from injury or follow team protocols, their personal trainer, physio or coach will be able to find the right exercise to suit their fitness, ability and age profile.

The platform is just the first step in an ambitious plan to disrupt the digital health sector, with further products expected to follow.
