Sunderland BID sets up online business support panel
A panel of experts is being created by Sunderland BID to help businesses get help and support through special online sessions.
‘Ask the Experts’ has been set up by the BID so that city centre traders can get access to people who are authorities on subjects ranging from law, accountancy, marketing to IT from across the city.
The scheme, which will get underway tomorrow (May 6), will start with a financial specialist helping to negotiate the government’s bounce back loan scheme.
The aim is to host regular sessions for small groups, on particular subjects which are relevant to city centre businesses.
Sharon Appleby, head of business operations at Sunderland BID, commented: “We are delighted to have an expert like Lucy [Hope, of Bespoq Finance] host our first ‘Ask The Expert’ session around a subject which is very new but is very important to so many small businesses.
“This is a great opportunity for city centre businesses to ask questions about the scheme and what it means to their business.”
