Lucid introduces free round the clock support to reassure clients during pandemic
North East based IT services provider Lucid Technology Solutions is offering some peace of mind to its clients during the Coronavirus pandemic, by providing them with access to free 24/7 remote support. Lucid, which has its head office in Norton in Stockton and offices in Newton Aycliffe and Team Valley, has extended its external IT support service, which it usually operates 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, to help clients at any hour of the day at no extra cost, in a bid to help businesses continue to operate efficiently and securely during the crisis. Lucid works with over 100 clients across the North East operating in a variety of sectors including legal, healthcare, accountancy and manufacturing, many of whom have transitioned to home working since lockdown measures were declared in March. The business will be offering the enhanced service to its clients who currently receive IT support from this week delivered by its team of 16 IT specialists. Cheryl Spears, sales director at Lucid Technology Solutions, said: “The whole ethos of our business is geared around helping clients to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible through the best use of IT technology and this has never been more important during these challenging times, especially when many clients have had to adapt to home working. “We recognise that working from home can bring additional IT challenges and clients may need extra support until they can resume their usual working practices. We’re also finding that people are not necessarily working typical office hours and are either starting earlier or finishing later as they work around other commitments such as home schooling, so we wanted to offer a completely flexible service at no extra cost to give something back to our loyal client base at this difficult time.” Jonathan Fletcher, managing director of PG Legal, said: “Lucid’s support during this difficult period has been invaluable to my business. Not only did they ensure that the entire team were able to work from home with full remote access at the start of the lockdown but their offer of free 24/7 support as an enhancement to our existing support package has meant that all of the team have been able to access Lucid’s expertise at any time of the day or night.”
Lucid Technology Solutions, formerly known as Yarm Computers Ltd, has been operating for over 30 years and offers a full suite of business technology solutions including; IT support, software development, telecoms, CCTV, access control, and security solutions.
