Yorkshire accountants announce expansion after 25 per cent revenue increase
A Yorkshire cloud accountancy firm has announced that it is expanding following new business wins.
My Management Accountant, based in Huddersfield, is expanding its workforce after a lockdown revenue increase of 25 per cent.
The firm has invested in a new website, in addition to running a free peer support group for businesses needing help during the coronavirus outbreak.
The company has offices in the Media Centre in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, but the nine-strong team has been working remotely since the middle of March.
Founder Martin Bown commented: “While many other accountancy firms have placed staff on furlough, we are very much open for business – in fact, we are expanding and are looking to appoint another fully qualified accountant to the team.
‘We’ve made sure our clients know we’re here supporting them through this crisis and beyond, and the beauty of cloud-based accounts is that we’re all able to access the same information at any time and from anywhere.
“Not only that, we can be more agile and are able to offer the same service now as when we are working from the office – in fact, our team was working remotely a full 10 days before the government advice.”
