Context listed as a top global channel PR firm
Cheshire-based Tech PR agency Context has been named among the top global channel PR agencies, according to a June, 2020 blog post, “Do Channel Vendors Need Public Relations Anymore?” by Principal Analyst Jay McBain of global research company Forrester. Context was listed among 11 firms in the UK, and 85 globally.
Forrester provides advice on the current and potential future impact of technology on its clients and the general public. It carries out research on around 10,000 global technology vendors that utilize indirect sales, and often get asked about the value of PR in the channel.
The Forrester list has been established based on conversations with editors, journalists, publishers, technology vendors and channel consultants who correspond with PR people on a daily basis. They ask them about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Frank Smith, MD of Context said: “We believe obtaining a place on the list demonstrates our ability to stand out from the crowd based on our reputation for channel focussed expertise. In our opinion, it reinforces our role as a trusted content provider to the media, and we’d like to thank all those in the industry that acknowledged Context.”
