London environmental services firm grows revenues 27 per cent with international acquisitions
An environmental services company has seen revenues grow by 27 per cent following strategic reacquisitions of various overseas franchises.
Water Intelligence, which is headquartered in London and provides leak detection and remediation solutions, has announced that revenues in 2019 jumped to $32.4m, a 27 per cent increase from 2018’s $25.5m.
It also reported that profit before tax growth had risen by 34 per cent, going from $1.8m to $2.4m.
During the period, the company reacquired four Canadian and American franchises, as well as two additional US franchises last month.
Dr. Patrick DeSouza, executive chairman of Water Intelligence, commented: “Superb 2019 results in both revenue and profit before tax growth once again validated our strategic direction.
“We grew our sales footprint and ‘American Leak Detection’ brand to gain a critical mass of $125m in total sales to third parties from franchisees and corporate-operated locations.
“We are fast becoming a multinational distribution platform - a ‘One Stop Shop’ - that provides a matrix of service solutions to residential, commercial and municipal customers and an opportunity for follow-through sales of additional products.
“Despite COVID-19, we have had a strong first half of 2020 and continue to execute our core strategy.”
