An experienced planning professional has been appointed to further strengthen the central Birmingham office of leading consultants Pegasus Group.

“I am delighted to have joined Pegasus Group’s team of specialist consultants and look forward to promoting the Group’s planning services here in the Midlands.

“Three years since the government set out its Midlands Engine Strategy for economic growth, there has never been a more exciting and opportune time to be based in Central Birmingham. The level of innovation and investment in infrastructure continues apace, and I am looking forward to supporting a wide range of clients with their development projects.

“Pegasus Group’s plans for growth here in the Midlands – and nationwide – remain ambitious, and I am thrilled to be able to play my part in achieving those ambitions.”

Sarah provides planning advice to clients on all aspects of the planning process, from initial development strategies to the determination of project implementation. Her role covers a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, leisure and roadside services.

A member of the RTPI, Sarah graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc (Hons) Dip TP and began her career as a planner. She joins Pegasus Group from WYG, where for the last three and half years she was a Director.

Pegasus Group Managing Director Tony Bateman said: “Sarah has a wealth of experience working across a wide spectrum of planning sectors and her expertise will bring a real depth and strength to our offerings as a firm.”

While Keith Fenwick, Senior Director in the Central office, added: “We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the Central team.

“Being at the very heart of the Midlands Engine means this is an exciting time for our region, as we ‘plan’ and grow our way out of the Covid-19 crisis. Sarah’s experience and skills set will be an enviable addition to the comprehensive service we are able to offer new and existing clients.”

Pegasus Group is a national consultancy with more than 330 skilled and experienced staff operating from 14 offices across UK and Ireland.
