Sky Business Solutions launched to provide remote expertise to growing businesses
A new business service has been launched in Exeter offering short and long term remote business solutions to growing organisations. Sky Business Solutions (SBS) was formed in March 2020 as the Coronavirus pandemic tightened its grip and the nation went into lockdown. The company is the brainchild of founding members Amy Helm and Jenny Evans who, after finding themselves being made redundant, worked remotely to collaborate their business background and expertise. Having worked closely in previous roles and aware of their strengths, the ethos behind Sky Business Solutions quickly started to take shape.
With the pandemic placing unprecedented pressure on businesses of all sizes, SBS recognised the lure of securing management level expertise without commitment to full time contracts and lengthy recruitment processes. SBS offers clients a service that works as an extension of the companies they work with and specialises in:
- Partner engagement
- Business development, sales and marketing management
- Event management
- Client relations
- Training notes and preparation of presentations
- Tender presentations
- Administration
- Marketing support and business administration
- Company representation/networking/tradeshows
The SBS team are available to fully immerse themselves in the organisations they work with, also offering a hands-on approach by supporting company meetings and representing clients at events and tradeshows as required.
Founder and director Amy Helm said “We are really excited to announce the launch of Sky Business Solutions. We wanted to create a service that would offer flexible, reliable and valuable business support which allows clients more time to focus on their core business.
“The pandemic and associated lockdown has forced businesses to look at new working practices which challenge the traditional office based 9-5. At SBS, we work remotely and slot into our client’s organisation as required.
“The business landscape continues to change with emerging challenges both practical and financial. Budget restraints can make recruitment of skilled personnel unachievable but by using SBS on a contract basis, clients can access very experienced people at a fraction of the cost of employing an individual full time.”
