Sunderland call centre recruits 150 new team members with growth across "majority of sites"

A Sunderland-based independent outsourcer has announced that it will be expanding its team as it recruits 150 new staff members.

Kura, which has a call centre in Sunderland, currently employs more than 2,500 people across its sites in the UK and South Africa.

The company said that it has seen growth across all its sites, even during the pandemic.

Client partnership director, Janine Hunt, commented: “Over the course of the last few months we have seen continued growth across all of our sites which is fantastic in the current situation.

“We’re looking to recruit around 150 new employees into our site in Sunderland to support our client operations.

“Our approach to people and culture and our vision to be unrivalled in developing people attracts a lot of people to work with Kura.

“Our dynamic roles and client accounts means that our employees have a lot of progression opportunities within the business.

“All of our business is performing really well which has resulted in growth across the majority of our sites.”
