Yorkshire construction firm completes work on Barnsley warehouse
A Yorkshire construction company has announced that it has completed work on a new warehouse in Barnsley.
Wilton Developments, based in Leeds, reported today that the warehouse unit at Enterprise 36 Business Park in Barnsley is now complete and ready for immediate occupation.
Enterprise 36 is a four-unit scheme strategically located at Junction 36 of the M1 in South Yorkshire, from which approximately a quarter of the UK’s population is within a two-hour drive.
The newly completed Unit 2 provides versatile, high specification warehouse space, providing a total floor area of 77,800 sq ft which is immediately available To Let or For Sale.
Toby Vernon, partner at CPP, commented: “Unit 2 is a very high-quality building in a sought-after location and we are already seeing a good level of enquiries from occupiers.
“The demand for modern units such as this remains strong and this unit will cater well for local and regional occupiers”.
Jason Stowe, managing director of Wilton Developments, said: “Enterprise 36 has been a successful scheme and we are delighted to offer the latest unit to the market.
“We were pleased to deliver units 3 & 4 to William Rowland and Dura ID Solutions off-plan and subsequently develop the latest unit on a speculative basis”.
Councillor Tim Cheetham, Barnsley Council’s cabinet spokesperson for place (regeneration and culture), added: “Our highly successful Property Investment Fund was established to work proactively with the private sector to provide first-class commercial developments for growing local companies and inward investors at key locations throughout the borough.
“Enterprise 36 is a perfect example of what can be achieved by doing so.
“Our award-winning Enterprising Barnsley Team is available to provide comprehensive business support to companies interested in occupying this excellent facility”.
