Riding the ‘Solar Coaster’: The Little Green Energy Company Celebrates its 10th year in business
Kent-based Solar PV, Battey Storage and Renewables specialist, The Little Green Energy Company, is celebrating its 10th year in business.
2020 has been a rollercoaster year for many, but for The Little Green Energy Company, this year marks a decade in the business, helping homeowners reduce their carbon footprint and revolutionising businesses energy output.
Celebrating such a milestone in the current climate has seen the company reflect on their humble beginnings. From booking installations out of the spare room, to looking forward to the next 10 years, as building a sustainable future continues to be a focus globally.
Founded in 2010, Managing Director, Simon Dudson, has seen the technical landscape change dramatically over the years, but nothing could have prepared him for the last few months. Speaking on the future, Simon Dudson says:
“With what we have learned and overcome in the past 10 years and with year on year growth we have high hopes for the future. Covid-19 has tried to derail many companies, but I feel this will make us stronger. We’ve already learnt so much about our business as result and made improvements that perhaps we may not have noticed under ordinary circumstances.
Climate change is firmly on the agenda and I believe we are in a prime position to help people work towards a greener future. We plan to continue to grow and are aiming to be the name businesses and homeowners turn to in the South East when they need help transitioning into renewables, but keeping the values of high customer service and approachable feel.“
