Rescue centre ‘feline’ much better following donation from pet food business
True Instinct, experts in natural pet food has donated over 60 bags of cat food to Heronbank Rescue in Leeds, helping to provide relief to those caring for cats during these difficult times.
Heronbank Rescue aims to help cats and kittens recover from difficult situations, whether that may be abandonment, neglected or abused. The team are fully committed to giving them the immediate medical care, love and eventually, a loving home that they need and deserve. So far in 2020 alone, the centre has helped and rehomed over 100 cats and kittens.
Sarah West, Committee Member at Heronabank Cat Rescue, said: “As a small independent rescue we receive calls and emails day and night regarding stray, feral, injured and poorly cats. The team are always on hand to help as much as we can, we spend our days trapping, fund raising and nurturing cats and kittens back to health.
“We rescue the cats and get them healthy and ready for new homes. We are completely volunteer run and we have outstanding support. Thank you to Michael Nemeth who forwarded our cause to Natures Menu and supplied our rescue with a very generous donation of cat food. We are extremely grateful and will have some very full tummies!”
James Langan, Managing Director of True Instinct, adds: “We are proud to support the work of such fantastic cat charities that need us. We understand the importance that wholesome food can have on a pet’s health and we want to help ensure that the much-needed support that Heronbank Rescue provides to our feline friends can continue despite the challenges they may be facing during this difficult and uncertain time.”
