Flagship building scheme creates 79 new private apartments in Southwest London
A London property company has launched a new riverside building as part of their Riverside Quarter scheme in Wandsworth.
Frasers Property UK has launched Nine Riverside, a 14-storey building that provides 79 private apartments, each with a private balcony, terrace or winter garden, set within the leafy landscaped gardens at Riverside Quarter.
This building is ideal for COVID safe living and features spacious living spaces, ample outdoor space, a Thameside boulevard and resident’s only leisure facilities.
Nine Riverside has been designed with a striking bronze metallic façade by architectural practice Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher and is the final building to be launched at Riverside Quarter completing the almost twenty-year regeneration of the site, once a former Shell oil terminal.
Residents of Nine Riverside can also utilise the RB6 Service by Thames Clipper service from the Wandsworth Riverside Quarter Pier, which was recently upgraded and extended by Frasers.
The service has provided a favourable alternative to trains or buses since the COVID-19 outbreak, as the boats are spacious and provide fresh air throughout a journey.
David Skelton, director of sales and marketing at Frasers Property UK, commented: “Following a near twenty-year regeneration of the area and the production of a landmark Wandsworth scheme, Frasers Property UK are pleased to be launching the final 79 apartments and state-of-the-art resident amenities.
“The ongoing COVID-19 situation has changed what buyers are looking for and what residents cherish about their homes. We are pleased that the new apartments at Nine Riverside will cater to this new demand through their design, location and convenience of the Thames Clipper service.”
To coincide with the launch of Nine Riverside, Frasers have unveiled a brand-new two-bedroom show apartment, situated on the first floor of Nine Riverside, designed by interior designer Rachel Winham. The design of the show apartment highlights the flexibility of the living area with an open plan, spacious design.
Rachel Winham has also drawn inspiration from the dual aspect views of the River Thames and the River Wandle as well as the exterior design of the building with a combined muted blue and metallic palette used throughout.
Rachel Winham, managing and design director at Rachel Winham commented: “Having designed over ten show apartments at Riverside Quarter and knowing this would be the last, we wanted to ensure the design was a true reflection of our love for the development.
“With a double aspect design, it’s hard not to take inspiration form the incredible River views. We wanted to create a comfortable yet sophisticated space with soft blues, fresh whites and dusty pinks mirroring the Thames and Wandle on a sunny day.
“The project was such a great one to work on and we have loved the ongoing relationship with Riverside Quarter. Our designs have evolved throughout the years and for the final building we combined a mixture of beautiful bespoke finishes and fabrics.”
