North East flooring company invests £100k in first London store
A North East flooring company has announced that it is creating new jobs with the opening of its first London store.
Flooring Superstore is investing £100k in its new store at Brent Cross in London, which is the 20th in the UK.
The store will open on Saturday (August 8) at Staples Corner Retail Park, and will be creating four new jobs.
Flooring Superstore regional manager, Ian Robinson, commented: “It’s always been our ambition to have a presence in the capital so the fact the Brent Cross store will also be our 20th nationally is very special.
“Just eight years ago, we were purely an online brand, but we have grown rapidly and opened physical bricks and mortar stores which now stretch from Scotland down to Devon, with plans to open more during the rest of 2020 and into 2021.”
To mark the opening, Flooring Superstore is running a free, instore ‘Golden Ticket’ promotion.
Ian added: “This is something we have started to do with the opening of all new stores, and it has proven very popular, particularly because no purchases are necessary.
“Depending on the ranges of flooring the winner chooses, it could be enough to floor an average two-bedroom house, so it’s a great way to introduce ourselves to the people of Brent Cross and North West London.”
