Bolton Accountants Raise £1000 For The Big Bolton Dash
Bolton-based accountants, Gorilla Accounting, have raised £1000 for Bolton Lads and Girls Club as part of The Big Bolton Dash.
Over £19,000 has been raised from the event so far, with 80 teams entering and completing the 26.2-mile challenge.
Seven employees from the accountancy firm took part in the charity event, which is raising funds for a new bereavement counselling service for young people in the area.
Speaking of the fundraising event, Daniel Fallows, Director at Gorilla Accounting, said: “The Big Bolton Dash is a fantastic local charity event that has consistently provided great local causes with the funding they require over the years and I’m really proud of our team for getting involved and raising £1000.”
The event saw plenty of creativity, with teams completing the challenge in fancy dress, virtually walking down the Las Vegas strip, climbing Rivington Pike and even Ben Nevis.
A member of the Gorilla Accounting team who took part said: “As soon as I heard about this year’s Big Bolton Dash I couldn’t wait to get involved! It was great to see so many local businesses get stuck in to raise money for such a great cause.”
