Pet care brand donates 9,000 meals to animals in RSPCA's care
Webbox has donated over 9,000 meals to animals under the RSPCA’s care.
Animal charities like the RSPCA have been drastically impacted by the pandemic, partly due to factors such as the closure of charity shops, cancelling fundraising events and donors having less disposable income due to furloughs and job losses.
The food donated by Webbox will help to feed the dogs, cats and rabbits currently in RSPCA Lancashire East and RSPCA Rochdale & District’s care.
Ken Harrison, Branch Manager at RSPCA Lancashire East, said: “We rely entirely on the donations of local people and businesses like Webbox to enable us to continue caring for and feeding vulnerable animals.
“The team and our animals are extremely grateful to Webbox for their generosity at such a challenging time for our charity. It really has made a huge difference and it’s fantastic to see the animals enjoying their lovely treats!”
Camille Ashforth, Senior Brand Manager at Webbox, said: “The work that the RSPCA do in caring for and rehoming animals is incredible, and we’re proud to have played a small part in helping them in these unprecedented circumstances.
“We are proud to support RSPCA branches in various different ways, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”
