Taylors turbo-charge growth for supercar retail company

A Blackburn law firm has helped complete development of a new, state of the art Porsche dealership centre.

Taylors Solicitors, who specialise in commercial law, acted for Parker & Parker Limited to acquire and develop the exciting new site in Kendal, South Lakes.

Taylors lead the way for the purchase and expansion of the retail space in Cumbria. The acquisition, however, was no easy feat, with Taylors Senior Associate, Peter Marks, working to reclassify parts of the A 601 road which assessed the retail site as a non-motorway.

Elaine Hurn, Managing Partner at Taylors said: “We are honoured to have been involved in this exciting phase of the Parker family’s partnership with Porsche, having acted for them for over 20 years.

“The team here at Taylors lead by Peter Marks have done an incredible job of ensuring the new acquisition ran smoothly, especially in the midst of a global pandemic.”

Ian Parker, Managing Director of Parker & Parker said: “The advice and support we received from the Taylors’ team was second to none. With their help, we have been able to invest a large amount to develop the new centre”.

The new dealership, which will be named Porsche Centre South Lakes, will open in Summer 2021.
