Yorkshire logistics group invests £250k in new base in "expensive and ambitious move"
A Yorkshire logistics group has announced that it is investing £250k in a new Leeds base.
Sure Group, which specialises in recruitment, logistics and healthcare, will see its new facilities at Howley Park Business Village create several new roles as demand increases.
The base will also help the group expand operations across its existing offices in Hull, Leeds, Northampton and Wakefield.
Charles Draper, founder and managing director of Sure Group, said: “The opening of the Leeds office is the next exciting chapter in our story.
“From being set up in East Yorkshire just over five years ago, we’ve achieved year-on-year growth and more than doubled the turnover from £1.2m in 2015 to £10m today.
“A quarter of a million-pound investment is an expensive and ambitious move, but one we believe is essential in realising our ambition to become one of the country’s leading recruitment, logistics and healthcare service businesses.
“The new Leeds base allows us to expand our services and recruit new talent in the West Yorkshire region.
“We are already in discussion with several organisations and will be announcing some exciting new contracts that will be serviced from the Leeds base soon.”
