‘On demand’ delivery service sees rapid growth and expansion in 2020
Beelivery.com, the UK’s largest ‘on-demand’ grocery business which delivers orders within 60 minutes of customers placing their orders, saw a huge 300% increase in customer sales across the lockdown period which started in March.
Beelivery covers a larger geographical area than any other on-demand delivery company, and with a strategy focused on convenience, it is not surprising that the tech focused, short-chain logistics company has been busier than ever over the past 6 months.
Lee Parkinson, Beelivery CEO and Co-founder explains: “Since lockdown started in March and people were shielding and self-isolating in their own homes, our quick delivery service proved to be a lifesaver for many people across the UK.
“We launched the company in 2015 to support people with limited mobility, and for those who simply appreciate the convenience and quick turnaround of a grocery delivery, but we have been able to provide an essential service to thousands of people during lockdown.”
Due to increased growth, the company has expanded its delivery fleet from 15,000 drivers to 19,000 drivers and has no plans on slowing down

A recent Trustpilot review of the delivery service stated: “I have used Beelivery through the pandemic for my mother. I must say that I found them to be brilliant, ordering and payment was easy. On ordering you get a PIN number to give to the driver to make sure you got the correct order. Drivers were polite and courteous at all times. I would recommend Beelivery for your essential goods if you cannot get them yourself.”
Beelivery offers a wide range of products from fresh and frozen meal staples such as meat, fish, bakery items, pantry items, vegetables and fruit, to snacks and alcohol, and home cleaning products.
The release of these latest figures follows on from the company’s recent launch of their first-to-market, 24-hour nationwide service which aims to deliver orders within 60 minutes of customers placing their orders.
