Careers specialist Frontline Recruitment is set to upskill over 100 people as the demand for specialist fork lift truck drivers booms.
The boom in ecommerce brought forward by the Covid-19 pandemic means that fork lift drivers are now highly sought after - and Frontline has been inundated with requests from its clients for temporary staff.
David Essam, Operations Director at the company, said: “We have a huge requirement for fork lift drivers from our clients who are seeing a major rise in demand for their warehousing and logistics facilities.”
David added that Frontline is seeking specialist fork lift training providers to meet the demand.
He said: “We’re now looking to speak to companies who can offer fork lift training courses so that we can upskills over 100 workers.
“As well as a boom in temporary placements as businesses open up again, we’re noticing a rise in permanent opportunities for the first time since before lockdown, which is hugely encouraging.
“I’d welcome the chance to speak to any training company which wants to be part of a fantastic job creation story.”
