O2 arena retail outlet reports 30 per cent sales increase post-lockdown
A London retail outlet has reported that it has seen a 30 per cent increase in sales over the past 12 weeks.
Icon Outlet, based at the O2 arena in London, saw sales trend from 65 per cent of the previous year up to 95 per cent across the twelve weeks post-lockdown.
It’s weekly footfall has also doubled since reopening, now standing at 75 per cent of last year’s figures, compared to an average of 59 per cent across London, according to a report by Springboard.
The outlet said that the strength of its performance is a result of its retail offer evolving post-lockdown, with Tommy Hilfiger Kids and Haidilao Hot Pot joining the venue.
