Elmtronics agrees six new partnerships with some of the UK's biggest manufacturers
Elmtronics has secured several key partnerships with some of the UK’s leading dealer groups. With the move to electric fast gathering pace they are all investing in smart electric charging infrastructure, to support their network.
Brands such as Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, SEAT, Ford and Renault are working with Elmtronics, the UK’s award-winning supplier and installer of EV charging solutions, to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Each dealership is having a combination of Alfen 7kW to 22kW AC fast dual chargers and ABB DC rapid chargers, installed to cater for the charging requirements for all EV models. The charging stations will all be connected to Hubsta.
Hubsta is an intelligent network that is connected to more than 55,000 charge points worldwide meaning it has never been easier to charge or manage your electric vehicle. Hubsta currently has over 3.5k registered clients with a total CO2 saving of 864,67 tonnes. You can also find Hubsta via the Zap-Map.com, which is launching Zap-Pay, a simple pay-as-you-go (PAYG) tariff. Zap-Pay will be rolled out across UK networks in 2021, providing unique and unrivalled coverage across the whole country.
Simon Tate, Sales Director for Elmtronics, added: “We are delighted to have the opportunity of working with some of the best-known franchise dealers across the UK. Going forward, we will be providing them with support to help them meet manufacturers’ requirements and ensure their electric vehicle charging infrastructure is in place.
“With the growing popularity of EVs combined with the fact there are more models on the market, there is now a need to ensure infrastructure is fit for the future.”
Elmtronics recently installed the Alfen products at five independent Ford dealerships.
Will Smiles, Managing Director of Springfield Garage Knottingley Ltd, said: “We found the advice and professionalism of Elmtronics helped us to meet Ford’s standards at a competitive price. They provided a sensible solution and backed this up with good communication and an installation team who were first class. I would be happy to recommend Elmtronics to any car dealer looking to future-proof their business.
“We chose to work with Elmtronics as from the initial discussions it was clear they understood the direction of our business and were able to offer a reliable solution that suited our EV strategy now and for the future.”
Elmtronics have completed projects across several Ford franchise dealerships this year, to install their electric vehicle infrastructure, with more to follow throughout 2020.
